Beautiful flowers, delicious food, fantastic volunteers and amazing guests and donors (and of course the polo!) made the annual ‘A Day at the Polo’ event a memorable charity event.
Guests arrived to Tai Tapu just outside of Christchurch city dressed exquisitely for a game of polo and fundraising activities. James Dunlop Textiles was delighted to partner for a much needed charity and sponsored the interior design of the space alongside L H Design. Fabrics were supplied for the tables in Mokum Obi Stonewash fabric and the back wall behind the bar featured Mokum La Palma, helping to add that extra pizazz to the day.
Making a record-breaking $220,000 - the most ever in its 17-year history, the money will be extremely useful in helping with the running costs of the facility that reach $1.4 million annually.
Every cent of the money raised will go directly to support the families who stay at Ronald McDonald House programs in the South Island.
