Habitat for Humanity

At James Dunlop Textiles, we love to support charity organisations and get involved in local community and sustainability efforts. Our friends at Guthrie Bowron put us in touch with Habitat for Humanity New Zealand, where we were able to donate fabric towards a fabulous cause.

A not-for-profit organisation, Habitat for Humanity bring people together to build, repair and renovate houses. Their aim is to eliminate sub-standard housing and to meet the needs of their occupants.

In support of this great cause, we donated over 1,000 metres of curtain fabric which will be used by the Habitat for Humanity team to make curtains for homes in need, creating warmer and healthier home environments.

Take a look at the photos below to see a few of the rolls being donated.

Visit Habitat for Humanity for more on what they do and information on how you can help out and volunteer.
