Our textile designers at build their vision and design cues through being in-tune with dominant global trends and how they are translated into our local culture and environment. Inspiration comes from a variety of channels including international fashion, product and interior design, art and architecture, and attending key trade and lifestyle events.
Our colour direction is drawn from the latest luxury fashion and leading international brands, it varies across regions and latitudes so designing the right shade and vibrancy for the local market is essential. Although macro-colour trends are aligned across our design studios, each brand expresses inspiration differently through design and cadence while remaining authentic to their individual brand identities.

MACRO - COLOUR FORECAST
- Vibrant brights are a key colour direction to create an energetic palette.
- Brick tones, golden yellow and terracotta pigmented hues increase in prevalence, offering rich and warming effects. From clay orange to sun-baked pink, all shades of terracotta will feature across a wide range of constructions, from organic weaves with a dry handle, to deep plush velvets for a sophisticated quality. (Pinterest reports a 95% increase in saves of terracotta-themed trends while Eporta has seen demand for orange products grow by 195% and coral has seen a 109% upturn in listings over the last six months.)
- Browns are returning from banishment, highlighting their growing importance as interior tones.
- Teal and greens offer a calm, crisp counterbalance to the heavier autumnal tones. Green brings a botanical touch to spaces and creates a connection to natures neutral. The presence of soft moss green will set off more saturated hues.
- Classic pastels will continue to evolve for interiors as they shift towards a chalky aesthetic. Pastels evoke calmness, tactility and softness and their prominence has seen them become versatile tinted neutrals.
- Metallic finishes celebrate shine and richness creating luxury and opulence with silver emerging steadily but not impacting on golds dominance.
- Soft neutrals of cream, parchment, ivory and off white shades become warmer, more nostalgic and comforting.
