Accessories | Cushions
Cushions are essential to the atmosphere of a room, creating a sense of softness and tactility whilst functionally increasing comfort and support.
The cushion is an ancient article of decoration and function. Not only found within the home, cushions also adorned religious spaces and palaces from the early Middle Ages to the 19th century, making sitting or kneeling on the often-hard seats more comfortable and thus enjoyable.

DESIGN STYLES
Nowadays, decorative cushions are widely available with seemingly infinite possibilities for pattern, colour, texture, and scale to complement a variety of design styles or influence the mood for your interior.
You can easily relive your favourite eras such as the 60s and 70s with vintage prints or high pile textures, curate a nourishing environment with organic textures in earthen shades, or mix florals and geometric prints with a range of trims for a classic sensibility.

Shapes & sizes
Shapes & sizes
Cushions come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from the lumbar to support your lower back to bolsters, hassocks (a head rest cushion) and the large euro. Their edges can be boxed, flanged, piped, trimmed, tasselled, or plain, and the cushion itself may be round, squab, square, tucked, or buttoned.

CUSHION INNERS
CUSHION INNERS
Cushions can be filled with wool, hair, feathers, polyester staple fibre, non-woven material, and even shredded paper, however many people prefer and appreciate the quality of feather inners. To ensure your feather inners remain perfectly plump and well-shaped, we recommend you hand wash, wring, and dry them thoroughly on a gentle machine cycle.
For a plump, full look, ensure your cushion inner is 5cm bigger than the cover. For example, a 45cm x 45cm finished cushion should have a 50cm x 50cm inner.
